Sunday Serving Opportunities
FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM
Our First Impressions Team is responsible for helping to create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for our worship gatherings each Sunday morning.
- Communion Set-Up volunteers set up the Lord’s Supper table prior to our worship service.
- Geneva House Hosts brew coffee and create a hospitable presence in the Geneva House on Sunday mornings. They brew coffee prior to our worship service and clean up the Geneva House following our worship service.
- Attendance Counter volunteers take attendance in the sanctuary and in 2 Pillars Kids during the worship service.
- Greeter volunteers' primary responsibility is to be present at the parking lot door or sanctuary entrance, welcoming people as they arrive.
- Clean-up volunteers are responsible for cleaning up the Lord’s Supper table following our worship service. They also help clean up the Geneva House.
2PC KIDS
2PC Kids is our children's ministry. We serving opportunities in the Nursery, Pre-K, and K-2nd grade classrooms. Each classroom has one Leader and at least one Helper. The Sign-in Station role is responsible for welcoming families, checking children in, and printing name tags.
SAFETY & SECURITY TEAM
Our Safety & Security Team members are responsible for ensuring our facilities are safe and protected on Sunday mornings. They are also responsible for greeting at entrances and monitoring entrances and other areas during the service. Additional training is required for all Safety and Security Team members.
It is also our goal to identify someone in attendance at our worship gatherings that is First Aid/CPR certified and prepared to respond to a potential medical emergency in our building. The only requirements for this person is that you are present during the worship gathering (available) and that you sit in a specific seat (accessible).

MUSICIANS COMMUNITY
Our Musicians Community is responsible for worship music during Sunday morning worship gatherings as well as the operation of the sound board and slides. Additional training is required.
Non-Sunday Serving Opportunities
FACILITIES TEAM
The Facilities Team focuses on general upkeep, maintenance, and stewardship of the 2 Pillars facilities. They will serve under the direction of our Director of Facilities. Specific roles and responsibilities will be defined and assigned as needed. These roles may include: custodial, supply purchasing, lighting, outdoor upkeep, storage management, and small projects.
EVENT PLANNING TEAM
The Event Planning Team assists in the planning and coordination of 2 Pillars events, classes, and all-church gatherings. The team includes Event Leads who work closely with our Deacon of Events to ensure excellent execution of particular events to which they are assigned. They help foster a hospitable culture and welcoming environment for those in attendance.
CHILDCARE VOLUNTEERS
Childcare volunteers are responsible for providing childcare, as needed, for 2 Pillars events, classes, and all–church events. Compensation is sometimes provided, based upon the nature of the event.
CREATIVE TEAM
The Creative Team is dedicated to producing visually engaging graphics for sermon series, Sunday morning slides, special events, and various graphic needs within the church.
DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT TEAM
The Digital Engagement Team is responsible for social media, website, and blog content creation, editing, publishing, and maintenance.
